I’m about to join the group of adventurous people, the likes of whom joined Thomas Cook back in 1872, who’ve packed a bag and traveled around the world with it… quite literally. On February 14 I’ll board a plane for what I feel could quite possibly be my biggest adventure yet– my very own round the world trip (RTW). Four continents, 12 countries, 15 cities, and 34,000 miles.
This idea of a RTW has been bouncing around in my head for the past couple years, and I can hardly believe the dream is about to become reality. I’m looking forward to meeting up with old friends, making new ones, working on some photo projects, and looking into some places where I think I might like to live.
As much as I appreciate America, it’s not the place I’d like to live, as I’m undeniably drawn to other cultures and places. Even though America is my home, in the sense that I grew up here, I feel that I belong somewhere else and that I could feel more at home in another country.
So here’s to seeing what happens along the way…
You can check back here every now and then to follow me along the way. Yea! :)
